Due to my lack of finances, I’m traveling to the Los Angeles area by train on Tuesday for a final job interview. It was $200 less than an airline ticket, but it’s scheduled to take 29+ hours to get there. I’m reminded of the last time I embarked on such a long journey. It was back in October 2004 when I went on a business trip from Sacramento to Grand Junction, Colorado. That was a 25 hour passage that took me to Colorado as an atheist and returned me back home as a believer in the one true God.
