Erwin McManus is one of those guys that seems to dream big, yet always finds a way to make things happen. I don’t know him personally, but he seems to exist on a plane that few of us could ever operate from. Some days I wish I could accompany him on a parallel journey, but mostly I am grateful it was he--and not I--that was called to walk in his shoes.
“It’s time to live, to create, to imagine, to dream…Wide Awake.
That’s a quote from the jacket of McManus’ book titled Wide Awake. In this book McManus tries to help us get out of our sleepwalking and going through the motions. He shares his story along the way and engages the reader in a quest for creative living with our eyes wide open and our minds and bodies wide awake.
I’m giving away my copy of Wide Awake. It’s going to be done randomly based on the comments left below. The contest closes at midnight tonight, February 15th and if you win, I’ll even pay for postage. How does the thought of living to create, imagine, and dream in a way that allows to make such thoughts reality inspire you? Leave a comment below for your chance to win Wide Awake.

Hey Dave
I have a copy of Wide Awake already, so that’s cool, but Erwin’s ministry, and that of the other guys at Mosaic is hugely impactful.
He’s one cool Jesus follower!
Glad to see we’re on the same page!

Johnny, thanks for the link! I’m in touch with Eric Bryant and all that he is doing from a multi-cultural perspective within the church, in ways that feel natural and relevant. Yes, the Mosaic team is doing some amazing things to make the world a better place and Christ’s love known to all :)
Congratulations to Drew Yamamoto for winning the random drawing for a copy of Wide Awake by Erwin McManus!
