Lisa, one of the things that happened at The Idea Camp in Irvine, CA was more of an emphasis on connecting twitterers in real space. There was a Thursday night tweetup before the event as well as people coordinating lunch/dinner during the event via twitter. There was even a breakfast tweetup where I got to meet people from PA, MN, DC, etc. The connection with people in real space was one aspect of ICPNW that didn't work as well, but then again, we're supposed to be introverts, or at least that's what a little birdie told me :) So glad that at least *we* got a chance to connect :)

Super great to meet you! It isn't often that I get to turn my online-friends into real-life-friends, so it was a real honor for me to be at Idea Camp to do so. Looking back, I wish there would have been more time for whole-group introductions. There were people there that I follow and interact with on twitter that were there but I couldn't sort them out from the rest of the crowd. I think it was the Pacific Northwest look that was tripping me up (bearded young white males wearing hats). *smile*
