		<description>These are great practical words of advice that not only get to the heart of the matter but also give practical advice to both the mentor and the mentee.

You are right, mentoring has this stigma about it that seems to keep people from approaching the idea. At its basic form mentoring is sharing about life together. 

I truly believe that if people were being mentored we would not be in the economical problems that we have today and the divorce rate would be lower. Simple put, people are looking to connect and learn from each other and if no one is there to do teach us we learn from our mistakes on our own and often have a hard time not continuing in those mistakes.

Dave, I am worried that my generation (Gen Y and some of X) will continue this trend of not sharing with others. That this generation will be far removed from the church and the influence of others. 

I am excited to start to have this conversation and look forward to more conversation in the future.</description>
