Hi Dave. I'm struggling with whether or not to narrow the focus on my own blog...

But if we narrow our subject matter down, then we'd have to make another blog to contain the other things that we're driven to write about. Or we'd try to fit certain content into our blog that doesn't really fit what we said it'd be about.

What can be done??

(A more primary problem for me right now is having too long of posts (also bad for readership, they say). Bleh).

Daniel: Thanks for taking a moment to share your comment. I agree with you, but just curious what others think. So much on the web says I don't blog properly.

Denny: Thanks and I agree. I do blog for myself anyways and did so for almost 3 years without having any readership. Looks like I attract people that appreciate some randomness and personality and that makes me happy :)

Hi Dave,

I have just started to follow you. I see that we have a bit in common. From Graphics to Mac to web work and of course common faith. From what I see on your blog, you are just being who you are. It doesn't need to be for anyone else. There will always be someone that connects with your story and will be inspired or challenged by your thoughts and words. Just be faithful in who God has made you. Blogging is like casting your bread upon the water. You never know who will take a bite.

Blessings to you brother.
Shabbat Shalom!

Dave - Personally, I appreciate the diversity of thoughts. It gives me more insight into who you are as a whole person. I see the same advice in terms of blogging, but I don't regularly seek out blogs that are focused on only one subject.

Besides, a one topic blog can't contain your personality!! :)
