With the mega-churches and seeker-sensitive churches commonly looking to attendance numbers and annual baptisms, how does one give credible review of a missional church? Being a missional church is much more about living a lifestyle of loving others and being non-judgmental, yet I’m not quite sure its fruit is in numbers. Especially since much of the dialogue of the missional church isn’t attractional and the assembly isn’t about numerous programs for Christian families.
How would you gauge the success of a missional church? If its growth isn’t in baptisms, but is from being relevant, open, and engaging the truly unchurched, then what?
