Sunday Night Thoughts…

Thought the room at Living Stone had a totally different feel today with the house lights off and the new lighting. Seemed more intimate, but not sure if others liked it or not.

We need to reflect on what we are doing and where we are going.

Worship was pretty good today and the songs felt different in the new setting. We need to start repeating some older songs again.

David Rae’s testimony of how he rose through the ranks of Apple Canada using Biblical principles and sharing his faith in Christ should have motivated people and got them excited about all that God wants to do through us at Living Stone, but no one was talking about it after service. Maybe some people aren’t going to be ready for the changes coming up.

I’m excited about being in Del Paso this Saturday to work with the Sacramento Food Bank and share the gospel and Jesus’ love to others.

I am still affected by the statistic that 50,000 people die each day not knowing Christ as their Lord and Savior. That just seems so wrong and I need to make sure we are continually challenged to do our part in seeing people saved from eternal death. This is getting a lot of prayer from me right now.
